Non Car Dealership

New cars in the UK suffer the worst depreciation in values in Europe.

That is the finding of rental company City Car Club, which discovered that budget cars suffer particularly badly.

For instance, a Fiat Stilo Multiwagon would lose 54.9% of its value in its first year in the UK, compared to 23.2% in Germany.

Likewise, a Kia Rio loses 54.7% of its value in its first year in the UK, compared to 22.5% in France.

Oversupply and too many new body shapes and special edition models are being blamed for flooding the market in the UK, driving down used car values.
