The new 2012 Honda Civic hatchback and CR-V SUV will be built at Honda's UK factory.
The next-generation Civic will be launched at the Frankfurt motor show in September, before production of the new car starts at Honda's factory in Swindon later this year. The car goes on sale early 2012.
Like the Civic, the next CR-V will also be built in Swindon. Honda revealed a CR-V concept car earlier this week and will give the car its first public viewing at the Orange County International Auto Show in Anaheim, California, in September.
The SUV is set to go on sale in autumn 2012.
In a further boost to Honda's UK factory, the company announced that from September it will return to its normal production levels. The factory had been affected by a shortage of parts since the Japanese earthquake and tsunami.
