Updated Peugeot 107 unveiled
The 107 has a redesigned front bumper that incorporates LED daytime running lights, while under the bonnet there's an improved 1.0-litre petrol engine that ensures the 107 now averages 65.6mpg – an improvement of nearly 3mpg over the current car.
More significantly, the 107 now emits 99g/km of CO2, meaning owners won't pay road tax or London's congestion charge.
There are now three trims – Access, Active and Allure, with Access models starting at £7995.
Mid-level Active versions now get air-con as standard, while Allure models come with alloy wheels and Bluetooth and USB connectivity.
Peugeot is offering deals on the current car however, with an entry-level 107 Urban Lite costing £6995.
The 107 is virtually identical to the Citroen C1 and Toyota Aygo, which have also been updated for 2012.
