This is the Vauxhall Adam, a Fiat 500 rival that will go on sale in early 2013.
Previously codenamed 'Junior', the stylish new three-door will make its public debut at the Paris motor show in October.
The Adam will join the Agila and Corsa in Vauxhall's small car line-up, but is designed to attract the type of style-conscious buyer who might normally go for the Fiat 500 or a Mini.
The Adam will be priced to compete with both rivals, and come with a host of personalisation options, including colour and trim choices.
Sources at Vauxhall claim that the Adam will have 'muscular and sporty' styling and not share the looks of any other small Vauxhall. Something that’s borne out by the ‘official’ spy shots the company has released.
Several engine options will be on offer, including a newly developed 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine.
