At £33,395, top-of-the-range Electron versions get a colour touch-screen, sat-nav, an updated stereo, DVD player and voice-controlled navigation, telephone and music systems.
Deliveries of the Ampera begin May 1.
Vauxhall is also launching a special after-care package for Ampera owners called MyAmpera. Customers will be given the telephone number and email address of their own personal Ampera agent, who will be based at Vauxhall's HQ.
Customers will also have a free collection and delivery service for all scheduled servicing, warranty and repair work and the car also comes with Vauxhall's Lifetime Warranty and eight-year battery warranty.
