Vauxhall's first 'hot' diesel will be an Insignia VXR, powered by a new 2.9-litre V6 diesel.
Although no power figure has been revealed, Vauxhall has said that the diesel will be offered alongside a 360bhp petrol-powered Insignia VXR.
The company has also revealed some more details about the engine line-up for its Vectra replacement.
There will be a petrol-powered 1.6-litre turbo and a 190bhp version of the 2.0-litre turbodiesel that's currently available with 130 or 160bhp in the Vectra.
