Vauxhall's new Antara 4x4 will cost from £19,850 when it arrives in UK showrooms in July.
The five-seat car will be available with either a 2.4-litre petrol engine in base E trim, or a 2.0-litre diesel in E, S or SE trims.
Diesel-powered Antaras start at £20,995, rising to £27,695 for an SE car fitted with an automatic gearbox.
Base models come with stability control, air-conditioning, CD with MP3 compatibility and steering wheel controls and alloy wheels.
S models have luxuries such as climate control, heated front seats, cruise control and automatic windscreen wipers, while top trim SE has satellite-navigation, CD changer, leather seat facings, electric door mirrors and parking sensors. The Flex Fix bike-carrying system first seen on the new Corsa is available as a £475 option.
Power is delivered to the front wheels during everyday driving conditions, but it automatically switches to four-wheel drive when the ESP senses extra traction is needed.
