Here's your first chance to take a close look at the forthcoming Mazda CX-7, Mazda's sleek new 4x4. It's powered by a 2.3-litre petrol engine, although a diesel will be fitted in time. It's due to arrive in the UK sometime in the middle of 2007.
Also on view is the new Lexus GS450h, which Lexus hopes will steal a lead over Mercedes and BMW in bringing a hybrid petrol/electric engine to the executive market. Its 3.5-litre V6 petrol and electric engine can together deliver more than 340bhp, making it the most powerful hybrid produced to date, and it'll deliver 35mpg – not bad for a car this size.
