Volvo will release its heavily revised S60 this July, and claims the car will better to drive than ever.
The manufacturer says virtually the entire suspension system of the car has been upgraded in a bid to stop the steering being tugged to and fro under hard acceleration.
Revised settings for Sport models also mean a more nimble driving experience, Volvo says.
Other changes include a new front spoiler, door mirrors with integrated indicators, larger front grille and active headlights that swivel in their sockets to provide better illumination through corners.
The cabin is also subtly different, with aluminium inserts on the switchgear, new chrome inlays and new gearlever and handbrake design.
Engines are unchanged and will continue to include four petrols, offering between 178bhp and 296bhp, and a pair of diesels with 161bhp or 182bhp. Prices will be announced later this spring, but it's likely there'll be a slight increase over the existing range of £20,245 to £34,820.
