What Car? Best Buys - MPVs

Here's our pick of the best models on sale in every class, but you can find our full overview of new and used MPVs by clicking here.

1. Citroen Grand C4 Picasso 1.6 HDI SX 5dr
Price £17,715 Target Price £16,528
The Grand C4 Picasso has moved the MPV game on by a significant margin. The exterior is stylish, while the cleverly designed seven-seat interior not only looks good, but is spacious, airy, versatile and comfortable.

The drive is angled more towards comfort than thrills, but that's hardly an issue with a car like this.

It's easy to manoeuvre around town, thanks to its light steering and fantastic all-round visibility, while it's smooth and refined on the open road.

Low-cost option
Fiat Multipla
1.9 Dynamic Family
Price £15,050Target Price £12,883
Both the Multipla and Honda's FR-V seat six people in two rows of three. The Fiat does it better, though - the middle front seat is very comfortable that's to the Multipla's considerable girth, while the central rear chair doubles up as a picnic tray. Load space is excellent, too.
