For Stylish, easy to programme
Against It makes itself heard at every turn
Verdict Classy and does the job, but irritating
This stylish unit looks more like a hand-held games console than a sat-nav unit. The wide screen offers a bird's-eye view of the route. Although not predictive, it was very easy to programme, with a full postcode search.
The Points of Interest feature had plenty on offer, but some local amenities were absent. Also, it was the noisiest unit we tested, with an audible alert every time we needed to make a turn. There's a speed camera function and six months of updates are included in the price.
