Q: I have just returned from staying with some friends in America. Because of the growing number of ‘road rage’ incidents on the roads over there, they've had a device installed in their vehicle that records and stores footage to a hard-drive for security purposes. I wondered if such a system is available in the UK and, if so, where I could get hold of one.

A: These systems do exist in the UK but are generally only used by the police or commercial organisations carrying valuable goods or large amounts of cash. There is no reason why you couldn’t fit such a system to your own vehicle; however, the high cost might prove prohibitive.
