Volkswagen's coupé is essentially a Golf underneath, but you'd never know it from the styling. The Scirocco is great to drive, too, and a very safe place to put your cash. The 1.4 TSI engine is excellent.

There's a brand-new Z4 on sale, but this old one's still a cracking car to drive. If Bobby gets on with the bold styling, the drop-top BMW should hold its value well and won't be too thirsty.

Beautifully made from high-quality materials, and with grippy, entertaining handling. The TT's superb image also means it will be worth a decent chunk when Bobby decides to sell it.
