A four-seat electric supermini might sound an attractive proposition, and one major benefit of the Mega City is that there’s more space inside than in a G-Wiz or MyCar.

However, the Mega City is not without its drawbacks. First, even bearing in mind that it’s designed solely for use in the city, this is a slow car. It even struggles to keep up with traffic in central London.

Secondly, its brakes were a real disappointment when we tested the car. To cap it all, the turning circle is poor (not what you want in a city car), its range is far from great and the build quality is not good.
