For a start, it’s pretty cheap, and the eight-hour charge time is about average. In fact, as long as you never need to venture out of town, the G-Wiz is certainly worth a look.

Trouble is, it’s not without its shortcomings. It will struggle to keep up with town traffic, doesn’t drive particularly well and is poorly made. There are the looks – proof, if proof were needed, that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
