Wigan footballer Charles N'Zogbia has been arrested over allegations that he tried to persuade someone else to complete the written part of his driving test.
N'Zogbia was at Sale Driving Test Centre on Wednesday to sit the practical part of his test when he was arrested.
He was held on suspicion of causing fraud by false representation and then released on bail until June 3.
