We won't get to see the new
Vauxhall Corsa in the metal until the British Motor Show next month, but after Vauxhall released pictures of the new car, we asked you for your initial thoughts on the supermini.
If our poll is an indicator on the Corsa's popularity, Vauxhall will be pleased. Nine out of 10 readers who replied said they liked the car. Here is a selection of your views.
HitOh yes, Vauxhall has done it again - watch out Ford your days are numbered! God rest the
Fiesta - dull and boring! Who said Vauxhall designed boring cars?
Paul WeeksThe new Corsa looks great. I also see it shares the platform with the Fiat
Grande Punto, so I take it has a five-star Euro NCAP rating. Nice looking car.
Lynne AngelI think the five-door Corsa looks great. It's very sharp, but the front is like the Grande Punto - very snub like - and I don't like copiers. I think the Grande Punto is the best looking car in class.
Richie LeeA sure winner.
Andy McEntireIt looks great! I always liked the five-door
Astra and the Corsa mimics it well. Even the new features sound like they will make the competition watch their backs.
Simon MacDonaldI always think any family car looks more 'natural' as a five-door. The wide doors you get on a three-door car - although they can offer more adventurous rear styling for those who want it - are always a bloody nuisance when you are trying to get in and out in city spaces, which after all, is what they are designed for in the first place.
Ian EdwardsLooks good... so far
Ian BaconIt looks good to me - not unlike the new
Clio, and better than the Fiesta.
David CookeA great little car.
Amanda EmeryI think the SRi will be a real head turner, I will however reserve judgement about the base models! I think I'll need to see them on the roads before I can pass comment. Hope they knock out another VXR model!
Omar ShahinJust seen your shots of the new Vauxhall Corsa, and I think it's a very stylish, professional-looking car, and keeps in with the styling of the Astra which is also very appealing. However, with Vauxhall laying off hundreds of workers in the UK, will it be a hit with the UK audience?
