Volkswagen is showcasing its future mobile internet technology in a specially designed Tiguan.
The 4x4 is connected to a wireless network in Wolfsburg, where VWs are made, and the driver can access information such as events being held in the city through the sat-nav display.
The internet connection works both ways, allowing the driver to check the Tiguan's fuel level, see if the doors are locked, or even get a route to where the car is parked. All this is available from a PC or iPod.
The Tiguan is on show at the International Suppliers Fair in Wolfsburg, Germany.
