    My car

Having driven Mercedes for the last 7 years, my last one being the C Class Coupe CDI 220, I was apprehensive to say the least when my A3 Sportback 2.0 CDI arrived.

However, after getting use to all the controls and settings I am thoroughly satisfied I made the right choice. The car is so much quieter at all speeds than my previous car. The Sat Nav is easier to follow while driving and the economy, even though the car is not yet run in is great.

The sports seats are very supportive, and the contols on the steering wheel are well laid out. The auto gear box has 4 different settings and is a pleasure to drive with.

    My car

Had this car a week and it replaces my BMW 320i coupe. Reduction in £100 per month lease costs and lower emissions mean tax down too - so it was the sensible choice. Went for petrol as I do lots of short journeys. Kids love the tech - I can't get my head round it all yet but my son has spent ages in the car setting it all up. Gearbox great and averaging 40mpg at the moment (beating the bmw by about 20%). The cabin is of fantastic quality but I do miss the leather electric seats (went for the sport model) and I can't believe this standard of car doesn't have rear parking sensors as standard. All in all very pleased though - but ask me again when I've pranged it when reversing !

    My car

Got this car two months ago. So far 8000 miles and pretty happy. Initial issue with SAT-NAV aerial, pretty disappointing for a brand new car, got resolved with a smile by my local dealer. Steering not as responsive as you would expect, but other than that all good. Very comfortable seats with lots of adjustment possible. Good quality interior and intuitive layout of controls. Took it to the continent and in Germany people walked around it when at services, as it was pretty new car even there. Thing that works the best is Audi drive select. Set in Eco mode. Trip to Europe - 2300 miles, average economy 54mpg with 4 passengers and lots of stuff - impressive, especially for brand new car and 85 mph on German motorways. After 8000 miles, mostly regular motorway commute, average 60 mpg. Still improving - average mpg now touching 63-64 mpg. Previously drove A3 hatchback, so no surprises, although next time I would go for premium sound system as standard Audi not a match for Bose I had in my old car. Ideal car for my needs.
