    My car

WOW - what can I say, I am totally smitten with this work of art! I am new to Audi having flirted between BMW and Alfa Romeo, but now I feel I have been missing something for all these years.

I have the A5 2.0 TDI SE with build quality second to none. The diesel engine is very strong compared with its direct rivals, is very quiet and hugely economical.

I personally think the drive is excellent, I find it both relaxing and sure footer when required. I am slightly baffled that What Car thinks having 4 seats is a negative - as they say themselves, if you want 5 seats buy an A4.

Overall I couldn't give anything but 5stars for this car. It is superbly handsome, gets noticed on the roads, it great to drive...and it will put a smile on your face every time you are walking up to it!

    My car

The best looking Audi. We are new to the marque., but I used to love my SAAB 900 Combi Coupe, which has been reborn. We have had ours since December and are getting 44.1mpg including a 52.7mpg on a recent 1000 mile primarily M-way trip. A frustration is that the sat-nav says it is a 2010 edition but does not show a river bridge completed in 2008 and a local M-Way is called the M Eight-hundred Seventy-Six. I am 6’5 and can sit in comfort behind front seat passengers. They are still rare birds on the road. it was 5 months before I saw another. Though not now on the gallery website or brochure, there was originally a car with a sunroof though not mentioned in brochure extras and we have one. The extra light is stunning. I love this great very comfortable cruiser. 6 stars out of 5 if I could!

    My car

I sometimes wonder if I'm driving the same car that was reviewed by What Car? During the test drive, and since I've had the car, I've never had to push my toe into the floor recess to engage the clutch. I've haven't worried for one second that the pedals are offset (the accelerator is poitioned to the right, but your right foot will point in that direction quite naturally). I've never found visibility to be an issue, but I could understand anyone who thinks it feels like you're sitting in a cockpit. I've driven along country lanes, pot-holed urban roads and brisk sprints up the motorway without any thought that there's any intrusive road noise, a boomy exhaust or anything more than a reassuringly firm ride. The ventilation controls are a little fussy, but despite having never read the manual I got used them very quickly. I'm 6 foot and yet I still get about 2 inches of headroom in the back, with about 4 inches clearance for my knees behind front seats that are set for my 'relaxed' driving position. Throughout, the car is absolute quality with superb finish. Audi have clearly spent a lot of time designing a stunning looking car, but then finished it off with real attention to detail...including the needle sweep on start-up and doors that close like the Bank of England vault.
