For With well over 200bhp to call upon, the 325i is seriously swift. It sounds fabulous, too. SE versions are reasonably priced and come with a good level of standard equipment.

Against There's similar performance, but better economy and lower emissions, from the diesel-engined 325d. On standard suspension, the SE model isn't quite as sharp to drive as the M Sport.
