After having driven Audi a4 2.0 tdi s- line for 4 years needed a change and glad I did . This engine is not for the real speed merchants out there but provides ample driving pleasure with good mpg . I thought the audi would take some beating but I think I might be hooked already after about 5 days driving this car .
Fabulous car I have on lease. Don't have to take the kids to school anymore so coupe is a treat. Interior is great although the bluetooth phone option at £800 was just a step too much. Gets going when revs are high and the fuel consumption after just 500 miles is worse than I had hoped for (only about 32) but the car is just a joy to drive so I can forgive almost anything.
Have owned this car for two years after years of despising diesel cars, and enjoying petrol cars. Wow, what a great decision this turned out to be. Have done 78,000 miles in two years, all problem free from a mechanical point of view, apart from the well documented 19" M Sport wheel cracking issue, which has seen both rears replaced under warranty.
That aside, it's been a truly wonderful motor, is fun, confortable and able to take on the big miles we've thrown at it with utter ease. The trim and interior whilst not revolutionary and aweinspiring, is clean, functional and well built, and the standard kit is reasonable. Notable useful additions reccomended are the aforementioned Logic 7 upgraded stereo and the heated seats which will win your impressive brownie points with the wife on those cold mornings. :-)
It's managed around 30K on a set of Bridgestone run flats, which as many have noted make the ride a little rough over big potholes but in all honesty, I really don't find it to be at all hard and uncomfortable in anyway shape or form.
I'm afraid my time with the 330D M sport is due to come to an end, replaced of course by another one, which is the new LCI facelifted model, so I only hope the new 245NBHP motor is everybit as good as this one, which I sure it will be.
Great work BM.
Absolutely brilliant Car, I had this for 2 years, was brilliant to drive, ride was OK considering the massive 19's. Looks brilliant in black and looks menacing at night.
Can not recommend this car more highly, loved it!
