A toss up between the Mercedes ML and the BMW X6 was finally swayed by the recent addition of the third seat in the rear, my son is six foot three and finds it comfortable in the rear seats without having to shrink, the midle seat is not the same but is still a bonus. The extras available media pack is a must, responsive, new eight speed auto box makes the gear change seemless and smooth. Round corners its like driving on rails, it sticks to the road. A spacious cabin, good alround viewing, comfortable. A pleasure to drive up to now, hopefully it behaves favourably in the snow. MPG not brill around local trips. Insurance not expensive once tracker had been fitted
Picked up my new X6 on 1st March with the new 10 plate. The car is stunning to look at, fantastic to drive and brilliantly different to everything else on the road. Following Clarksons rant on Top Gear I felt pretty nervous that I had made a mistake when placing my order back in December. However all of his comments about lack of power, space, visibility and handling are complete rubbish. This car is as exciting to drive as my old 330CD convertible. Its very smooth and balanced for such a big car, the interior is stylish and luxurious and the back seats are absolutely fine for me and I'm 6ft 4'. MPG is looking a little lower than I was hoping for at this early stage but otherwise can't fault it. Great car!!
