    My car

First things first, I'm an enormous petrolhead. To me, this car is simply magnificent. True, you have to drive it with the utmost respect or it's going to bite you as you leave the tarmac at high speed through some nearby foliage backwards. A Caterham is hardly the most practical motor you could own, but the fun aspect far outweighs that. The particular model I drove is the SV variant, the slightly wider and longer chassis version designed for drivers over 5ft 10in with broad shoulders (much like the build of a rugby union flanker, as I am myself). And if the performance statistics seem a little ordinary compared to the latest Focus ST or Impreza WRX, remember when driving a Caterham your own behind is only three inches off the road, 100 mph feels double. This has got to be the world's best handling and nimblest car. Of course, creature comforts are virtually nil (the soft top roof is a joke), but none of this matters, I want one and I want one now!!
