Against The 1.4 engine is rather gutless and it can't match either the punch of the economy of the diesel engines.

For us, the plain Active model makes more sense. Or, if you do want to upgrade from that, consider the more powerful engine rather than the extra kit on this model

There's a wide range of engines and trims to choose from in the Fiat Bravo range, but you don't need to spend much to get all the best bits of the Bravo.
Our favourite model is the 1.4 Active - although it's not the quickest model in the range, it is the cheapest, but still comes with standard air conditioning.
The diesels are smooth and responsive, and may make some sense for higher-mileage drivers. And, no matter which model you're looking at, you have the reassurance of a five-star crash-test rating from Euro NCAP.
