For This is a much better engine than the basic 1.4, delivering energetic performance, but with no penalty in fuel economy. Dynamic takes the Active spec and gives it a luxury makeover, with electric rear windows, Blue & Me phone and MP3 player connectivity with steering wheel controls, climate control, cruise control and alloy wheels
Against Adding Dynamic trim to the more expensive trim makes it all the more difficult to justify th extra expense over the standard 1.4-litre car
The extra power over the regular 1.4 is welcome, but the extra price isn't. Given that the Bravo is hardly all about performance, we'd sacrifice a few bhp, save some money and stick with the 1.4 Active
There's a wide range of engines and trims to choose from in the Bravo range, but you don't need to spend much to get all the best bits of the Bravo.
Our favourite model is the 1.4 Active - although it's not the quickest model in the range, it is the cheapest, but still comes with standard air conditioning.
The diesels are smooth and responsive, and may make some sense for higher-mileage drivers. And, no matter which model you're looking at, you have the reassurance of a five-star crash-test rating from Euro NCAP.
