For For just a few hundred pounds more than the 120 engine, this 150 brings a noticeable jump in performance. Over Active specification, Sport adds a unique interior trim with sport seats, as well as alloy wheels, a body kit, sports suspension and ESP

Against This engine is a little less economical than the 120 version, and its higher CO2 emissions will mean higher tax liabilities for compamy drivers

This is as close as any Bravo gets to being a hot hatch. However, we think the cheaper versions make more sense to buy

Buyer's notes

Target Price team says:

There's a wide range of engines and trims to choose from in the Bravo range, but you don't need to spend much to get all the best bits of the Bravo.

Our favourite model is the 1.4 Active - although it's not the quickest model in the range, it is the cheapest, but still comes with standard air conditioning.

The diesels are smooth and responsive, and may make some sense for higher-mileage drivers. And, no matter which model you're looking at, you have the reassurance of a five-star crash-test rating from Euro NCAP.
