With the arrival of the Punto Evo, the Grande Punto range has shrunk down to just two models – and the only choice for buyers is whether to have a three- or five-door body. There’s just one trim level, and one petrol engine, which makes this car effectively the entry-level model to the newer range.
That means its low prices look very attractive, and the single trim level does include remote central locking, ABS, electric front windows, power steering and two airbags.
To that you can add a variety of option packs (such as the Comfort and Style Packs, for example), but they cost several hundred pounds each. Add more than a couple, and you can end up with a Grande Punto that costs as much as a Punto Evo – which is a better car all round.
