    My car

I bought this car a year ago after watching the video on here, and reading a few reviews on the car. My wife really liked the car so we bought it. Sadly, in my view it does not have a "punchy engine". The throttle is very sensitive th pressure, and too much reduces the acceleration. I tried a 1.4 & 1.6, which were both the same. I have now decided to sell it as I cannot live with being overtaken by old people on push bikes. It is also quite thirsty on fuel, nothing like the figures quoted. The paintwork is very very thin, and easily chipped. Ford must be making large cut backs here. It does have good point, it is comfy & handles well, but I'm going back to more luxury.

    My car

What a brilliant little car! Great fun to drive the steering is brilliantly weighted at all speeds, the gear change is perfect, it has a very light clutch, is very grippy, has perfect suspension which absorbs bumps well but isn't too soft, it goes well on the motorway, you can put it in fifth at 30mph which helps with fuel economy and it has a decent turn of speed when required.

I love the funky interior with all controls being easy to use and have a feel of quality to them. Mine has the extra Bluetooth kit which includes a USB socket which I plug a USB stick into with all of my music collection on - the Fiesta shows track information on its display. You can also use Bluetooth for audio which I've done with my mobile phone and iPod Touch to use Spotify in the car.

The only disappointment so far is MPG - I'm only managing to average 38MPG which is lower than I expected but I only really do short journeys so to be expected I suppose.

    My car

I have had this car now for 4 weeks and I have to say that I am very impressed. I had the 06 version of this car previously and I wasnt too sure at first if this new design was an improvement, however I can now say 100% that it is.

The specification of the car is fantastic and the Blue tooth is a feature which I would really advise people to get fitted, if this isnt being thrown in with any offer. I can not fault the build quality of the car, however the other day I did notice how the front windscreen washer hose can get trapped under the bonnet hinge and reduce the flow pressure on the screen. Thankfully, I noticed this and was easy to fix, just making sure that it was back in its original grove.

The drive is fantastic. It may be the biggest Fiesta yet, however it is fairly easy to drive. My personal gripe at the moment is that the MPG is only 41.2 after doing nearly 1000 miles - something I must admit to expecting to be better for a car that boasts such fantastic figures on paper. I have also found that the fuel tank appears to be smaller in this model as a full tank will just go over 300 miles (according to the on-board computer) where as the previous version was up to 380 miles.

Overall though, fantastic car and I would recommend this car to anyone who wants a stylish car at a very reasonable price.

Extremely agile with a smooth & powerful engine. Smooth ride and nice steering feel. Reasonable space inside cabin. No faults & excellent service from local Ford dealer.
