My car

The 1.6T EcoBoost engine in my car has had much praise in the motoring press and quire rightly so ! it is a very good engine, economical considering it has 150bhp, it sounds good and is very flexible. You can get away with not making many gear changes. Interior design and quality is very good in my opinion especially in my Titanium spec car. My excellent Ford dealer put 17inch Zetec wheels on my Titanium which makes it look much better than standard titaniums in my opinion (titaniums come with 16inch wheels as standard). No complaints so far, hopefully servicing costs won't be to high. I much prefer this car to my previous car, a Toyota Auris. The new Focus is a quality product and a pleasure to live with day to day, I really would recommend it to anyone.

My car

This is a brilliant car - very pleased with it. I ticked all the options boxes. The most useful so far has been adaptive cruise control as I do a lot of motorway driving. The interior multi coloured ambient lighting at night is a childish joy for me...

The comments by motor journalists concerning its exemplary handling and agility are all spot on.

Only one niggle - when you open the passenger window, the air pressure inside the car at 40mph+ is quite extreme and can cause problems for the driver's ears. Avoid doing this!

My car

I don't own 1 of these but I use them every day in work for 10 hours at a time. I use a 1.6 turbo diesel estate for making deliveries and most of what I do is short journeys with lots of stop start driving. It's a decent car but it's so slow! I much preferred the original Focus and feel that was a much superior car. The fuel economy on this new Focus is impressive and it uses very little fuel considering the type of driving it's used for. The lack of power is the only negative I can think of. I can't comment on the in car entertainment as my company removes the stereos of all the cars that we use! If it was my car I'd make sure it came with with a decent sized engine.
