    My car

Bought new in May 2009 as the noseweight on my replacement caravan was too heavy for my Accord Tourer.

    BIG MISTAKE!!

My ownership experience has been one long nightmare.

Had a crash in August 2009, and it took Kia 4 months to find the front diff mounting. Kia dealer was not interested, and customer serice is the worst I have encountered in my buying of new cars over the years.

Since Christmas, the car has fused everything twice, but I am being charged as the dealers cannot replicate the fault.

The gearbox has also started jumping out of 3rd gear.

My first and last Kia/Hyundai. I am going back to Japan, as soon as I can afford in about 12 months.

The worst car I have owned, in my 20 car history.

    My car

In March 2009 I purchased a Sorento to tow our caravan at a very good price. Sadly the old adage too good to be true springs to mind. To date, I have had problems with engine/gearbox and clutch, a fog light full of water, the gearknob vibrating loose and the attitude and the aptitude of the local dealers being lamentable. All I can say is think twice before buying, ownership is a nightmare.

    My car

I took one look at this car and knew I had to have it. I was right, it is fantastic to drive. I tow a caravan and towing was never more pleasurable than with my Kia Sorento. The seats are comfortable and driving is a pleasure. Overtaking is no problem. This is a fantastic car, the blurb about the car on the information sheet is wrong, it states that the mpg is 39 we are achieving at least 48 to 50 mpg even when towing.

Thanks Kia for a lovely car.

    My car

Just part ex. my freelander 1 last sunday to kia sorento xs, ive'd travel over 200 miles return to collect the sorento with no regrets. The freelander is a pain...endless fault and the dealers are not helpful they keep saying that there's nothing wrong on the car.For me i will not buy a LANDROVER CAR again. Comparing the sorento to the new freelander 2, a few months ago landrover dealer send me an invitation letter to drive test the freelander 2.... curiuosity i drive test the freelander 2 the steering is too sharp and power is no match for sorento.Inside the cabin freelander 2 seems similar the sorento cabin... do the landrover copy the cabin of sorento or just a coincidence???????????? The sorento is solid even if i drive to rough roads no rattling or squeking. No problem on overtaking. I'm really impress and happy to my sorento.
