    My car

I bought my Sportage CRDi 2 last year and have racked up 6000miles in it. The car is a family car and is used on a variety of different trips from running my daughter to school, to cross country runs. The car itself is aesthetically very nice with handsome lines and nice proportions. I paid around £21,000 for CRDi 2 model and this is one up from the base model. Despite this its is well appointed and comes with plenty of toys. The nicest part of the 2 model is it gets the body styling of more expensive models and still comes with lovely features like the fantastic electrically opened glass roof which I personally love. The "2" comes with handsome 17" alloys as opposed to the larger 18" wheels and being an inch smaller definitely improve the ride quality. The interior is well laid out and nicely screwed together. Sure, the plastic quality isn't going to scare Audi but they are certainly good enough. The boot and cabin space is deceptively large snd the seats very comfortable. The driving experience is merely adequate with vague steering and wallowing handling. The 16v 1.7 litre diesel is gruff but worthy whilst being no ball of fire, the 6spd gearbox is light and precise. Braking is excellent. Economy is only average despite the optimistically titled "EcoDynamics" system (Kia marketing rubbish for stop/start). 45-50mpg seems to be the norm although the engine is still loosening up and the tank stays full for longer than the trip computer suggests. Overall very pleas

    My car

I absolutely love my Sportage. It's a GDi 2 and for the money you can't beat the extras that come with it. Don't find the cabin noisy, and it drives beautifully, Grips the road as though hugging it, very smooth ride, excellent cornering, comfortable seats and feels like you've a lot of solid car around you in case of an accident. I've owned and driven zillions of cars, and the Sportage is about the best in its class. I can't understand what car.com review, as it doesn't seem to correlate to the same vehicle. I get about 39mpg which isn't bad. Very little noise on motorway driving. With its 7 year warranty it also holds its resale value. I'm due to upgrade to the KX-3 and can't wait.

    My car

I am so disappointed with this car and wished I had never seen it. The very pushy salesman insisted I would achieve 42mpg and I was looking for economy in a bigger car. I also have a Seat Alhambra which does 44 to 50mpg so this seemed reasonable. I have never managed above 31.8 and I am a careful driver. I fill the tank and the range is about 340 miles...compared to 625 in my Seat. The Blue Tooth it dire. Pulling out of a junction can be tricky as sometimes it lurches and there is a slight delay before it goes. I was told it would have heated windscreen wipers (it doesn't) and the ECO button makes not a jot of difference! The salesman said it would improve mpg. I am getting rid as soon as I can.

    My car

I ordered this car and have yet to take ownership. I just wanted to pick up on a point in What Car's review - They say the rear seat has a large central tunnel running down the middle making that position very uncomfortable. We chose this car over the likes of a Qashqai because it DIDN'T have this issue (ie is has a nice flat floor). The middle seat is a bit harder than those on the outside (A problem with almost all non large MPV's). I'll update once I have the car .. stars given so far are estimates !
