    My car

Have had the car for 2 months and my initial impressions are very positive

    Positives

Good looking car thyat attracts a lot of attention and comments ( positive) Plush leather interior with some nice touches eg ambient lighting - very upmarket feel to car Excellent handling for SUV with quite a firm ride Good sound system that links and gives full functionality with ipod Good driving position with very comfy seats lots of room for passengers - panaramic sunroof makes rear feel very light and airy tows really well

Negatives Would benefit from additional storage space to put loose coins, pens, cds etc. Also nowhere to put keys - keyless ignition smallish boot MPG not great approx 33- 36 mpg on 2.2 SD4 diesel

    My car

After six months of ownership and 5,000 miles I must say I'm extremely pleased with my Prestige SD4 auto.

Having owned mainly Japanese marques I was really worried about the build quality and reliability of LR products. So far so good...it has not been back to the dealers once, and no hint of rattles or quality issues.

The finish is top notch with a premium feel to the cabin, really supportive seats and the panoramic roof lets loads of light in. The sat Nav is excellent as is the stereo.I have the 20" wheels and was worried about the ride quality, but its far better than expected which is a bonus.

The only negatives are that I am getting nowhere near the reported mpg...just 31 to the gallon, although I do a lot of town driving, and the boot is small...although I new that before I purchased the car.

I was originally going to get a fully loaded Pure but when I'd added on all the extras I wanted it was better for me to buy the Prestige for a little extra, plus residuals should be better on the Prestige also.

The looks are fantastic and if you dont like having strangers walk up and ask about the car...dont buy one as you do get a lot of attention.

The X3 and Q5 are both excellent cars but for me the looks won the day and so far I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality as well.

    My car

Thought I would write up a review admit it is only base on an hours test drive on a Range Rover Eqoque Unleashed day at Nottingham.35 Evoques in 3 and 5 door styles in five colours they had at the event looked awesome and people by the roadside and in cars gawping and taking photos so yes it realy does look great and not a car if you wan't to blend in the background.I drove the auto in fact they were all autos there and is was very nicely manufactured and felt well made and sturdy the interior was a pleasant place to be the seats and head restraints very comfortable steering nicely balanced breaks brill and very refined and quiet .I floored it when I could and it flew rather well. The door mirrors are huge but when you get in the drivers seat you know why it more than makes up for the small rear window and the passengers even notice they can have an all round view .Suspension was nice.I noticed I got 31mpg over 16 miles of town traffic , due to roadworks and thrashing it a little when I could so should get the mpg it is supposed to I hope.the boot is a good size considering the length of the car .I think it is a bit tight for 3 adults in the back of either for long journeys but fine for local outings but great for 2 adults or 3 smaller kids.probably the Pure is the best value like everything else these test cars were top specs and then 3 to 6 k of extras on top which is £46k getting neearer to the asport at £55k without the extras they are about £39k in auto sd form.
