For Power and performance in a car that stints on absolutely nothing in terms of luxury. Amazingly spacious cabin.

Against Even if you like the way it looks (and many don’t), the 57 is huge. The ride isn't composed enough and it could be more refined.

Subtle it ain't. It's vast, flash and comes with absolutely every extra you can think of - and then some!

Maybach 57 Saloon 5.5 V12 4dr

Talking about value is perhaps a bit mad on this car, but this 'basic' car is all the Maybach you need. There's no need to stretch to a bigger engine or the longer 62.

Buyer's notes

Target Price team says:

This is a car that's all about extremes. It's extremely expensive to buy and run, extremely quick and can come with pretty much anything you can think of. In fact, there are enough options (how about 24-carat gold-plated wheel rims?) to permit two million permutations of colour, trim and equipment, so chances are your Maybach will be unique.

If you want the ultimate in excess, go for the 62 version – and, let's be honest, when you're talking about a car this expensive, the extra it costs over the 57 is perfectly affordable. But, back in the real world, the most basic (although that's far from the most appropriate word) version of the Maybach gives you everything that's good about the car.
