    My car

    I bought this W 220 S Class 3 years ago, when it was 2 years old with 21,000 miles. It has been fault free and the overall fuel consumption is 39.6 averaged over 25,000 miles, 44.5 on motorway driving.

    Last month the dealership I bought it from was holding free "efficiency checks", so I took the car along. At age 5 years it is rust free, it's second ever set of tyres have 6 mm all round and tread wear is even, the original brake pads have 20% left, brake discs are fine and there are no electronic faults recorded on STAR.

    It has been a joy to use. Cars do not get much better.
