    My car

Had the truck 4 weeks and done just short of 4k miles. Use it for long cummutes to work, dragging DIY stuff around and family outings.

1 problem turned up day 2 when the car would not go faster than 70mph. Dealer reset the limiter usage to zero as there seems to be a glitch with the software. As I do not use the limiter (only the cruise control) not a problem.

Truck has all the gizmo's u could ever need. Particularly like the ipod connection, bluetooth and the satnav is accurate. Auto box is really easy and works well.

Very surprised at the 34.7mpg - really did not expect that of a 2 ton, auto truck.

Used the truck to pick up a load of garden furniture. Absolute doddle, then dumped the cardboad at the tip. No problem with the height at the tip.

    So far so good.

    My car

I got my new Navara Navara Outlaw Auto D40 at 2006. I had a great time with it but it came with extremely high cost.

For 5 years and 96000 miles I've had replaced 13 half shafts, 1 axle, 1 turbo, 1 steering rack, 1 set of steering wheel controls, 1 central locking component. I've never been in a garage before so many many times.

Last time I was at Nissan (3 weeks ago) they told me if the Navara was not covered by the warranty only the half shafts would cost me about GBP12000, turbo about GBP2000, I did not want to know about the rest.

A SELF RESPECTING CAR MANUFACTURER WOULD NEVER ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN!!!!!

Otherwise the staff at the main dealer were quite friendly and helpful most probably because........ . I will never ever by another Nissan again.

It's shame really because I liked this car very much and that was my 3th Nissan, the first one was Almera the gear box has gone after 81000miles.

    My car

It's now 2 years since I bought my Navara. It had 25 000KM on the clock when I bought it, now it reads 95 000KM. I can tell you it's hell of a car! Most important thing is it never let me down. Handling isn't on par with good sedan but that's what you expect when you buy pick up. Motor is pretty poised even for safe overtaking but V6 wouldn't do a harm. It is my first Japanese car but certainly not last. My next car will be Navara with V6 in it.

    My car

I purchased this car in september 2008.It was 10 months old with 13 miles on the clock.

This car had absolutely every bit of kit on it (leather heats seats, sat nav, sunroof, cruise control etc etc)

Managed to average 25 MPG, and then had a chip kit fitted. This increased the power and also increased mpg to between 28-30. Power increase went to 204 BHP, the kit is a plug in from mydieselbox and i would recommend this as it make the car feel more powerful.

The car performed without a fault and i only just sold it after two years of ownership. In that time I did a further 40,000 miles in two years. I have seen a few issues with the D22 listed in the reviews, but can say that the D40 is mechanically sound and will cruise on the motorway at 90mph all day long or across muddy fields.

Nice car to look at, to drive and totally faultless. Only changed the car as I fancied a change.

Only warning is to check service cost. I booked in to Nissan without checking the price first. Two hours later I was called to pick the car up, that was £500 bill for an oil change. Check next time as that makes the service more expensive than more Jaguar. Only good news is the service interval is 18,000 miles. Great car and I would definately recommend, not a single fault in 40,000 miles, what more can i say
