    My car

Love it..love it...love it. Had it for around 6 weeks now. Doing approx 34 mpg in an automatic. Bought it because we live in the country but couldn't justify buying a 4wd but needed to get through flooded lanes. Like the driving position, the dog loves the huge boot. Have no trouble with the visibility or parking thanks to the parking sensors. Couple of little niggles. Car has developed a high pitched squeak when going over dips in road. Think it may be the seats. Radio/cd player comes on really loud sometimes when starting car even though not loud volume when switched off. Bluetooth is not working consistently. Other than would definitely buy it again. It's a head turner and I love the shape of it.

    My car

Hi..just test driven the Qashqai (Black Tekna 2.0 Diesel)...was a nice drive - quite a bit noisy. Am also considering the Honda CRV (Black with Beige interior) 2 litre petrol...Which one shall I go for. Reviews look great for both cars. Qashqai can really seat 2 people comfortable - not 3. However the Honda is very spacious..

    My car

I attended the launch of the vehicle at my local Nissan dealer and was hooked from the begining. Originally owning a Nissan Almera, I decided to upgrade. I ordered a black vehicle and received free the panoramic glass roof. Unfortunatley because of demand I had to wait 6 weeks before taking possession. I was not disappointed. It looked smart and was really easy to drive. The handling and ride comfort is very good. There is a high spec in this model of the car which is one of the things that drew me to it. It is very spaciuous inside and as I have two kids and a dog exceptionally practical for my needs. In my employment i get to drive a huge variety of cars and i can say without a shadow of a doubt that this car is the best car of its class I have driven. Just two real grumbles - 1 Visibility out the rear is a bit limited, however rear parking sensors aid this and 2. It is a bit slow in excelerating.

Overall in my humble opinion this is a cracking car and i would recommend it to anyone

    My car

I have done 7000 miles in this car since 1st July and am very happy with it, in particular the fuel consumption, where it easily matches my previous car (a Primera 2.2TDi).

However, I have two quibbles. Firstly, the 12 volt socket and high level vent control should have been swapped over for R.H.D models, as this means that the high level vent light can't be seen when the car is in fifth gear unless you move your head a lot and telephone charger cables can generally be in the way.

Secondly, if you press any of the steering buttons a bit on the hard side the horn goes. Once you become aware of this you can be more careful, but my local dealer has confirmed that other Qashqai they had in the garage did the same, and the one they gave me as a courtesy car also did the same. When they contacted Nissan, they did not see this as a problem.

I have emailed Nissan's customer service desk, but they haven't bothered replying.

My concern is that if a driver was unaware that this could happen they could lose their concentration and have an accident, or they could accidently cause road rage, and possibly could also be breaking the law.
