We have owned our year old 308cc for just under 2 weeks and have done 800 miles in it so far. The car looks very upmarket & in our eyes very stylish & sleek. The car is very refined with roof up on the motorway at UK motorway speeds with assured handling and good performance. The weight of the car means that even with 156 hp the car has no more than good performance. The turbo petrol engine's torque throughout the rev range means it is easy to drive & you don't need to constantly stir the gearbox. Roof down the car is still refined with very little scuttle shake. We don't have a windbreak so it can get blustery above 60 mph. Our 9 year old daughter is unfazed in the back & loves it. The cabin is very high quality with a classy dashboard & plenty of soft touch materials. I take Peugeot's claim that it is a 4 seater with a pinch of salt as both my wife & I drive with the driver's seat well back restricting rear room. However there is plenty of space to move the passenger seat forward so the car is suitable as a 3 seater. The car has a huge boot with the roof up & a boot comparable to a big supermini with it down. However the access to the luggage with the roof down is very limited. There is no button to move the roof out of the way so you really have to raise the roof to access the luggage. If driven sensibly over 40 mpg is easily possible on a run and with 20000 mile 2 year service intervals in my mind the car is very cheap to run.
Probably the best all round 2 seater sports…
