For The 4007 has a smooth, flexible engine and it handles well. It's competitively equipped and roomy for five adults.
Against It's quite expensive, but the plastics aren't very classy and the third-row seats are cramped and uncomfortable.
The 4007 is a decent 'soft-roader', but there are cheaper and more practical alternatives on the market.
If you think the 4007 looks a little bit tame, you can smarten it up by specifying an Irmscher body styling kit that includes larger alloy wheels, body-coloured front and rear spoilers and twin exhausts. However, this is only available on the SE model.
Also, if you are tempted by the 4007, remember that the Citroen C-Crosser and Mitsubishi Outlander are essentially the same car, and you may be able to find a better deal on one of them. The Outlander range also offers a front-wheel drive version, which will be cheaper to run.
