For Looks good, if a bit of an Audi TT copycat, and drives very well. Nice, linear performance from the engine, responsive steering with decent feel and lots of grip. Sport looks cracking value if the budget is a little tight.

Against Sport trim misses out on a few treats; the gearbox could be a little more precise; and, as in many coupes, the rear seats are pretty much useless.

More and more manufacturers are offering personalisation options and Peugeot hasn't missed the chance to make some more cash from Peugeot RCZ customers.

On top of the usual metallic paint option, you can dress the exterior of your RCZ with three sets of body stickers, six types of alloys, three colour options for the roof rails, a smoked or chrome grille, extended sideskirts and colour-coded brake calipers.

There’s also an optional carbonfibre finish for the roof. This doesn’t replace the conventional steel roof, instead it simply sits on top of it, adding extra weight – plus £1330 to the bill.

Additionally, you can choose to add sat-nav a JBL stereo upgrade and a full leather interior. The smaller sports steering and leather bound gearlever that are standard on the 200THP model can also be added to lower-spec Sport models.
