For The Porsche Boxster is beautiful to look at, suitably epic to drive, and makes a good ownership proposition.

Against It’s expensive to buy, and could do with a bit more standard kit.

The Porsche Boxster makes you feel like a hero when you’re driving it quickly, and makes you feel cool when you’re just bumbling about. It’s an utterly sensational sports car.

Buyer's notes

Target Price team says:

The optional PDK semi-automatic gearbox is well worth consideration, because not only does it make you feel like a racing driver when you’re going for it, but it also greatly increases the Porsche Boxster’s efficiency.

Whichever version of the Boxster you go for, you'll get a truly sensational car. However, we'd stick with the standard 2.7 model. It's cheaper to buy and run than the S, and although it's slower, it's still very fast.
