    My car

I like driving the car and I bought it with opening mind knowing the running cost will be high, as my colleague teased me when I moaned about the petrol cost, "you bought a Porsche, what do you expect, if you want to save money on petrol, get a Toyota Prius" that shut me up.

Bought the car 18 months ago from West London Porsche. It's one of their ex demo, the car needs to be back to garage first week after delivery to replace two brake disc. When I took it for first service at Hatfield, they told me the sensor for the headlight not working as well. No wonder I get lots of light flashing from other drivers at night since the first night I got the car. West London Porsche ignored my letter of request for repair and Hatfield said not covered by Warranty. I never expect that kind of shabby Customer Services from West London Porsche.

Don't believe all Porsche dealers offer the same level of service. Do your research.

    My car

What a fantastic car! I have just taken ownership of a 58 plate Turbo S. The people who are complaining about this car either don't know how to drive full stop or thrash the livening daylights out of it. What else would you expect if you drive this car the way it’s built to? Four new tyres every six months! Well yes! New plugs and coils! eh that would be because your thrashing it! I have had an X5 and it’s the worst car I have ever had. 4X4 my foot! I took it off road once and it was like driving a couch through a field! Total disaster! I can't wait to take this off road! As for the dealers, well, I have used all three in Scotland (Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen) and I must say they really put themselves out to help. I haven't got a bad word to say about this car or any other Porsche for that matter. When I first past my test I was presented with a 944 from my dad. What a classic! I drove that car into the ground, then bought a new 911, had that for a few years, bought an X5 for a change and regretted it, selling it only a few months a go. Then bought the Cayenne Turbo S.

Oh, and as for range rovers you can stick them up your tailpipe, what a lot of utter sh**e!

    Am done! :-)!

    My car

Me and my husband have just recently (4 weeks ago ) purchased the Cayenne. After previously owning a porsche and not any major problems with it and loving the caynenne we needed the space due to having a little girl, the cayenne fit the bill offering us this with the sport look and performance the sports car had to go and a more pratical one to replace it. 4 weeks on and O MY ! the prop shaft needs replacing coils and plugs £1500.00 not good the car has only clocked up 55,000 miles only had one previous owner and is in imaculate condition.I asked The porsche approved garage that we use why does this happen on a car with this mileage ,he told me that after ordering the part from porsche they have said that this is not uncommon it can go on a car with 5,000 miles or one with 105,000 miles so really at any point point this can happen ,it's like switching a light bulb on it works one day the next its blown . It has really took the shine off this car for me and hope that this is not the start of other thing's to come ....? I do love the car and the drive is fantasic sports perfomance on such a big car is fantastic ,great got the bigger car with the much need space and still sports car perfomance. The fuel i don't think overall is that bad not brilliant but not bad it depends i think on how it is driven. Overall i think we will just have to see if this is just a bit of bad luck i just hope it is not more problems to come.
