For Dismiss this as a 'basic' Cayman at your peril. This is certainly no poor relation to the S, and it too gives a sumblime driving experience.
Against It needs plenty of revs to give its best, and the optional 19-inch wheels make the ride very firm. Plus, the Cayman misses out on some of the pricier S model's exterior features.
