For The extra power over the 'basic' Cayman gives this S version useful extra performance, and thanks to the seven-speed semi-automatic PDK transmission, this version is even quicker than the regular S.
Against The idea of an automatic Cayman might not be your idea of a Porsche - especically when the manual gearbox is great and this PDK 'box adds the best part of £2000 to the price.
Unless you want the option of an automatic gearbox, you can give this version a miss. The S is such a great car already that there seems little point in spending any more on this.
