Against The looks won’t be to all tastes, while the interior plastics appear and feel rather cheap. Curtain airbags cost extra on some models.
A mature and comfortable city car, with good interior space. Shame the basic versions aren't more exciting
< p>The engine line-up includes two 1.2-litre petrol engines: the entry-level unit gives reasonable pace and is suitable for city-dwellers, but the turbocharged TCE version packs some welcome extra punch. The Twingo has a mature feel for a small car, thanks to a reasonably smooth ride. The base models suffer from obvious body roll, though, and the Twingo doesn’t grip as well as some rivals.
