Target Price team says:

The standard Seat Altea comes with a choice of four trims and five engines – two petrols and three diesels.

The 1.2 TSI petrol comes in S or S Emocion trims, while the impressive 1.4 TSI is only available in SE guise.

The 2.0-litre diesel is a lot more refined and, in SE trim, comes with 138bhp.

The longer XL model is our favourite Altea, because its bigger boot comes with only a small price premium.

Seat dealers are open to haggling – use our Target Price as a starting point.
