    My car

Have owned a 1.2 petrol Yeti SE Urban for over a year. Bought for the high driving position, compact body size, removable/foldable rear seats and SE's decent level of accessories. Added optional heated front windscreen, Satnav and spare wheel (which takes up a lot of boot space). Total price was around £17K with 0% finance, so not as expensive as some rivals. Comfortable on long journeys and ok performance (1.2L). No faults other than a rattle from rear tailgate(?) which dealer can't fix despite two visits. Note: WhatCar website is still using photos of the Mk1 version with the round front lights which was replaced in 2014.

    My car

I have owned my Yeti Adventure (Special Edition) for nearly a year and after 15000 miles I have nothing but positive feelings towards the car. I love the elevated driving position, the flexible interior and the fact that it is fun to drive and handles better than an SUV could be expected to. I have had no problems whatsoever, not even a bulb failure. There are no rattles or squeeks and everything works well. As a keen cyclist I can get my bikes in the back with ease and when carrying my neighbours and friends I always get positive comments about the ease of access and egress.

So what don't I like about it - well it needs a 6th gear in my view, to reduce the fuel consumption and improve refinement. Additionally, I think it's pretty ugly - but that's a matter of personal taste. Finally I'm getting around 47mpg overall which is about the same as I got from my previous 2009 BMW 3 series. The one service I have had to date cost a very very reasonable £102 all in. So to sum up it's a great all rounder that is excellent suited to day to day family life.

    My car

We have owned our Yeti Urban for just over 6 months and we are delighted with it so far. It is very comfortable and reasonably refined in terms of ride and noise both around town and on the motorway. This little 110 Diesel engine is impressive, whilst I would like a bit more in terms of overtaking power (I'm used to having a few more horses!) it is exceedingly flexible, eager and responsive around town and on country roads, also still impressively refined and relaxed on the motorway. i was also pleasantly surprised that it averages over 50mpg at sensible motorway speeds and is capable of 60mpg on A/B roads. The cabin is plenty spacious enough for our family of 4 and I can get as much luggage/equipment into the Yeti as in my 2006 A4 estate. Overall we're very happy, the Skoda Yeti punches way above its weight, great fun too! Having test driven the new Octavia VRS, my next Audi may well be a Skoda ;)

    My car

I use this car mainly in the mountains of Alicante Spain. The car is the latest version post Sept 2013 and does everything that it should and more. Comfortable, practical and economical returning 44.5mpg actual. The build quality is excellent and although the entry model here in Spain it has a higher spec,ie 6x CD auto changer, folding mirrors,17" alloys and a/c+ climate control,it is more than adequate for most needs. My main car is a Merc 280cdi estate and to say the quality of the Yeti is comparable would not be an exaggeration. My wife and I are in our seventies and it is a pleasure to be able to sit high up and to step up into the car rather than down. All in all terrific package and a major success for the VW group.
