    My car

We live on a country road and I was looking to change my boxy 4x4 for something smaller as I was having a baby and the thought of trying to get a car seat out of a larger car in a car park was not appealing! The high running costs of our previous car was also prompting our change of car. Although What Car do not give the Urban Cruiser a good review I think it is a great car. It is stylish with a good interior, great to drive and our diesel version is very economical to run. Best of all I have the 4x4 option that I require on our road in the winter without having to drive a tank! I think it is a great family car, it has good leg room and boot space and my husband and I both like driving it and my husband is 6' 2" and has plenty of space.

    My car

I was / am a little disappointed with your overall review of this car which in the case of the 4WD seems to miss the point. My wife works on the top of the South Downs and after the last three winters was looking for a 4WD car that would double up as a family car and for going out in the evenings. We were also looking for something that would be reasonably cheap to run. Initially we were drawn to the Skoda Yeti or Nissan Qashqai. However, when you start talking 4WD suddenly your are up to £20k for a reasonably equipped model! There is very little choice, the Fiat Panda Cross is a bit rough & ready, the Suzikis are not very green or fuel efficient. The Toyota does everything. We paid a little over £14k with scrappage through a car broker a saving of over £3k. Currently averaging between 56 & 60mpg low car tax and insurance. The car is well equipped, quiet comfortable and feels quicker than the figures suggest and most of all gives my wife confidence on the lanes she drives to work. At the moment I do not think it has a competitor. It will be interesting to see it against a 4WD Nissan Juke / 4WD Mini / 4WD BMW X1 all of which I suspect will be more expensive which should take away your main criticism.

    My car

had been looking to change my car for a few months but nothing had really inspired me. I had looked seriously at a Ford Fiesta but could not believe that in 2010 they dont fit rear electric windows as standard on any model( Ford didnt reply when i asked them which model had them). This Urban Cruiser though is great, excellent driving position, good sized boot, great equipment fiited as standard
