    My car

I have had a 2.0JTS for nearly three years... Guess what... Am getting another one!

The car is great, truly great. Ignore anyone who believes they know it all and say Alfa depreciates, breaksdown... blah blah.

In three years, it has been the most reliable of companions. Looks fabulous (ok, my gf is slightly better looking) and has performed perfectly.

I regularly drive across the continent, and have exceed the topspeed on the German Autobahns... lummy that was exhilarating :)

Yes the ride is hard on 18" but it is part of the thrill. Visibility is irrelevant - no one is going to look behind. You're the one in the lead!

Get one and be part of the real world of drivers...

    My car

I bought a 2.0 blackline 6 months ago. I've held back from posting a review in case of any Alfa reliability "issues". Famous last words, but nothing wrong at all.

This is a fantastic car. First because it's gorgeous inside and out. People really do stop you to ask about it when you're filling up.

Second because it drives really well, sharp in corners, swift away from the lights and an epic motorway cruiser. The only difficulty is keeping the speed down.

Third, because it is a great balance between style and practicality. Leather and a terrific stereo but you can also get two adults in the back comfortably or put the seats down and turn it into a hatch. Try that with a TT.

True, the petrol version likes a drink, at least the way I drive it, though that creates more opportunities to draw favourable comments. And there is a bit of camber chase.

But ignore the comments on rear visibility; as noted earlier, any competent driver will be fine even without the parking sensors.

This car seems hugely overlooked, the Brera gets all the attention. Yet it offers an awful lot for the price. Give it a try.

    My car

Ok this review is for a model not listed, its the 1.8TS Blackline. I change my car every year and have had most Audi's , BMW'S etc. I visited Mangoletsi in Knutsford to see what was on offer. I fell instantley in love with the GT ,I was reluctant after owning a troublesome 147 years ago. I have to say what a fantastic machine,ok the 0-60 isn't great but the mid range power is has plenty of punch for over taking, on the motorway it is a very quiet cruiser, I hardley had to change gear and power never seemed a problem. Very comsfortable and quiet cabin with all the luxurys, but this car can be very sporty on the back roads also. The car get lots of comments and I get more glances than when I owned my TT and A4 Cab. As for reliability I have spoken to many people that own or have owned Alfas and to be honest, I think some people are just unlucky , you will hear more good storys than bad, other badges have there problems too! Dealers, well they rebuilt my 147 FOC when I was negligent to the warranty, and when I picked my new GT up my car was sat waiting for me under a Alfa sheet in the showroom, nice touch Mangolesti! I also found the dealership honest and very knowlegable in helping me choose my car, they re-installed my confidence in the brand. Finally, this car was £16,800 and looks and drive superb, what else can you get with that money new! this more than offsets any over exagerated bad depreciation claims. Buy one you will love it!

    My car

    I love this car!

I've had it nine months now, and it still makes me smile. It may not be the fastest in it's class, but it is the best looking. The interior is such a nice place to be!

I had the use of an Audi A4 recently which, by comparison, is boring to drive and doesn't feel very comfortable either.

My advise to anyone considering a coupe is go to a dealer and take one for a test drive. If you can walk away then you have a heart made of stone!!!
