    My car

We were going to buy an S4 cabriolet but just couldn't justify the extra cost. I drive an M3 coupe and my wife had an S3, she needed more space for 2 kids but the new S3 wasn't ready so we thought S4 but lets go for the cabriolet. Having driven both although the V8 sound track was amazing, so was the V6 when its wound up a little. So we decided to save the £8k-£9k extra the S4 would have cost. We picked up our new 3.2 V6 quattro S-Line Manual from Wolverhampton Audi in June 2006 and have since then covered 7.5K miles. The car has been absolutley fantastic and totally faultless. Exterior paintwork was 'SupaGuarded' from new which was worth every penny of the extra £395.00. Internally the black leather is spotless and the DVD sat-nav works brilliantly (Compared to my M3 'clock work' version). Traction is excellent, especially in the wet, very little scuttle shake, speed humps and potholes are noticeable but nothing compared with my M3. Running costs seem OK(ish) with my wife doing only urban driving the car returns about 22.5mpg on regular unleaded and around 25mpg with BP ultimate. On a run she averages around 31mpg with BP ultimate. In our opinion its a great car and we would recommend it heartily over any BMW or Mercedes. P.S. The Wolverhampton dealers are a great deal more understanding than their Birmingham and Sutton Coldfield counterparts and did a much better deal on the purchase price and finances.

    My car

I've had this car since 1st March and done 45k miles in it. It's been in for a service three times (which was a surprise as the other Audi's I've had lasted 22k miles between services) and I've only just changed the tyres.

Fuel consumption is averaging circa 45.5 ... though it runs better on shell diesel (47 MPG) ... it really hates BP diesel (43mpg).

It's been a joy during the summer and even though it's a cabrio it still feels like a "proper car" during winter months. I like the way the car "remembers" the temperature you last had it set to when the roof goes back.

This is my third Audi ... the others were 1.9 tdi avants ... and all have been brilliant cars. Each has averaged 50k miles per year and been fantastically reliable... finger crossed this comes to the same standard.

I've got cruise control and on long drives it does help. Also, the 140bhp engine is a dream ... it's much better than the 2.0FSI .. which is very flat in comparison.

    My car

I love my car. The problem is that I dont love Audi. I have had 2 gear boxes and now the car changes into sport and accelatates for no reason.

Audi know what the problem is, but despite an order backlog of 2 weeks, failed to order the part despite my having to wait 18 days for a slot for them to fix it. No I will have to wait another 2 weeks without my car. The gave me a 1.6 A3 and were surprised I wasnt happy!

    My car

Mine is in fact a 3.0 V6 52 reg.Lovely car BUT;after 20k multitronic gearbox suffered a total failure.Replaced under warranty in April 05.35K later gearbox has suffered total failure again. The car is sold as a premium product. If you had been told that the gearbox had such a lifespan would you have bought.I think not. As luck would have it the 2nd gearbox is outside the replacement warranty period but I will be expecting Audi to replace FOC & if not will bring proceedings against them under the Sale of Goods Act.
